Today, I receive a flyer in  my rent house's mailbox ..It is about "Free Johor From Dengue!!" campaign. The campaign wants to promote awareness among public about dengue, dengue prevention in the home and actions that need if  got dengue symptoms.

What is Dengue??

 Dengue fever also known as break-bone fever. It is an illness caused by a virus that is spread through mosquito bites. Dengue is spread by a type of infected mosquito called the Aedes aegypti mosquito. The mosquito bites throughout the day and night.Symptoms include fever, headache, nausea, vomiting, rash, and pain in the eyes, joints, and muscles. In several cases, dengue can cause death!!

Inspection at home campaign

The campaign encourages public to do inspection at home and destroy all breeding sites. 30 minutes Weekly Sunday Home Inspection should carried out in every home to ensure there are no or potential that can be Aedes mosquito breeding site..

Diversity Of Food In Malaysia

Last week, I had Hubungan Etnik class. The last chapter that we learned was "Pengalaman Harian : Menjalin Kesepaduan dan Melahirkan Keharmonian". The contents of this chapter are, how does the diversity of daily experiences of Malaysian can unite multi-ethnics.There are 3 elements that contribute the integration and harmony among Malaysian which are :

1. Food         2. Arts       3. Media  

Now, I want to review 1 of these elements which is Food. Why food? Because I like to eat..:D
Malaysia is rich of foods. All kind of foods from multi-ethnic(Malay,Chinese, Indian,Sabahan/Sarawakian) can be found here. Multi-ethnic that we have from past until now, has formed the diversity of food in daily experiences.In tourism, the Malaysia foods has brought to international an well knows as "Malaysian Cuisine".Daily experience in food aspects can integrate the multi-ethnic by popular foods that belongs to other ethnics. For example, Malay like to eat roti canai. Chinese like to eat Nasi Lemak and Indian like to eat pau.

Nasi Lemak on past, just served during on breakfast. But now, Nasi Lemak can be found  all time. Also before this, it was was served at home only but now, its can be found at exclusive places like hotel, restaurants until street stall. In this context, Nasi Lemak has changed the stereotype that Nasi Lemak is belong to Malay, otherwise it has belong to Malaysian.

Beware Of Scammer

Did you heard about scammer? If u always make online purchases from Internet, you must take the full attention and notice about scammer...Who is scammer? Scammer is  a person who perpetrates a scam or fraudulent scheme performed by a dishonest individual, group, or company in an attempt obtain money or something else of value. In other word, scammer is a liar!!

Online marketplace now is very famous today to promote the goods and services to the public. It also had changed the way of buying/selling transaction. But BEWARE!! Before we proceed further to buy something from online marketplace(like Mudah, Lelong, Facebook, Blog), we have to investigate or identify the behavior of seller.Because we don't want to be a scam victim.

Here I want to share with U Ollz about 1 tip to identify the seller that we want to deal whether
they had been a scammer or not before this.

D Segment Car Comparison In Malaysia

Before we start, lets me introduce what is D-segment car? D-segment car is a large family car or compact executive car. Normally, D-segment cars is start from 2.0 liter engine capacity and above. In Malaysia, we have many D-segment cars on road like Toyota Camry, Honda Accord, Nissan Teana, Proton Perdana, BMW 3/5 series, Merc E Class, and much more. It just a few names mentioned because in Malaysia market, customers have many choices of D-segment cars from Japanese,Continental and now rising on attention, K-Pop car..(Korean)..

While I searching on Youtube, I found a interesting video from Paultan channel (Driven). FYI, Paultan is a motoring journalist based in Malaysia and he is very best known for his website, http://paultan.org/.

The video is about Toyota Camry 2.5 vs Honda Accord 2.4 vs Mazda6 2.5. As we know, Toyota Camry and Honda Accord are very famous in D-Segment in Malaysia. But I don't know why Nissan Teana is not listed in this comparison. But upcoming new Nissan Teana, at http://paultan.org/2014/05/16/2014-nissan-teana-l33-display-malls/...

Toyota Camry and Honda Accord are no need to introduce more.These models are well known among Malaysian. But new comes in this competition, Mazda6. Can Mazda6 can compete with "otai" Camry & Accord?? Lets see the video, reviewed by Driven Team...

Mimaland

First of all, the boy in the pic is not me...:D Who was born or grew up in 80s must remember the water theme park that famous in Malaysia in late 70s and 80s, Mimaland. Many of the younger generation now maybe the first time heard about Mimaland but try ask your parent, of course they still remember (if they remember).It was started build in 1971 and opened to the public in 1975.The name “Mimaland” was unique and its actually short form of “Malaysia In Miniature Land”. It’s located at hilly area in Ulu Gombak, Selangor not far from Kuala Lumpur. One of the attraction at Mimaland is the prehistoric dinosaur theme park that have big dinosaurs replica.

 In 1984 Mimaland introduced another new attraction that was the swimming pool which to be the largest in Southeast Asia at that time. Also the big and high water slides that favored by many visitors.

 Besides that, Mimaland also has lakes that suitable for cruises/fishing, "giant maze" area and jungle tracking activities. In other words, Mimaland was popular premier outing destination for families.

In  January 1993, an accident happened that resulted in the death of a 27-year-old Singaporean. Unfortunately, the incident that shocked the public has forced the Mimaland to close for a while.In May 1994, there was also damage to the walls of the some pools that caused minor landslides that causing and made muddy water entered into the pool. Once again, the area is closed to the public. After that, Mimalad was closed
and became a neglected area until now.

I read Berita Harian’s newspaper today. Then, there is a part that attracted me to read. So I snap a picture to share with u ollz. Myvi XT was mentioned.Is that a new model launched by Perodua? After I finished my reading, Myvi XT actually was not a new model. It was a new variant that continued the legacy of Myvi. As we know, Perodua Myvi has been so popular ever since it’s first launch back in year 2005 and the best-selling models in Malaysia in 8 years in a row. We can see Myvi everywhere on the road, parking lot, and so on including at the park around UTHM. The staff, lectures and students also use Myvi. Take a look at the cars on the road, there is always at least one/two Myvi out of ten cars. Then I visited the Paultan website, one of my favourite motoring site. I read the review about Myvi XT, its specification and visitor comments. What make the difference between Myvi XT and other variants? Let’s check it out:
