Did you heard about scammer? If u always make online purchases from Internet, you must take the full attention and notice about scammer...Who is scammer? Scammer is  a person who perpetrates a scam or fraudulent scheme performed by a dishonest individual, group, or company in an attempt obtain money or something else of value. In other word, scammer is a liar!!

Online marketplace now is very famous today to promote the goods and services to the public. It also had changed the way of buying/selling transaction. But BEWARE!! Before we proceed further to buy something from online marketplace(like Mudah, Lelong, Facebook, Blog), we have to investigate or identify the behavior of seller.Because we don't want to be a scam victim.

Here I want to share with U Ollz about 1 tip to identify the seller that we want to deal whether
they had been a scammer or not before this.

 and so on?? These are GPS navigation system that can be use in our smartphone. 

By using these apps in our phone, it can help us to navigate the road and locations 

where we want to go. But now, Waze Apps is becoming a famous GPS navigation

 among the smartphone users.

Have u heard about the Mudah portal. For your information, Mudah.my is an online classified-ads website as well as largest online marketplace in Malaysia. It is very famous website among the Malaysian with a simple idea: buy and sell basically everything and find jobs, services, cars for sale, houses for sale, mobile phones for sale, computers for sale, properties for sale/rental and everything in Malaysia. It provided the service that allows anyone to buy and sell in his or her region conveniently. For example, If  U live in Melaka, U can make classified search the goods by your region only. These are some tips how to avoid from be a fraud victim:

• ·         Do not expose your identity and personal information to the suspicious seller.

• ·         Always prefer Cash on Delivery (COD) rather than Postage.

• ·         Making contact directly to the seller to make deal.

• ·         Examine seller’s information and advertisement carefully.

• ·         Keep all the information of transaction, dealing history, or any proof.

• ·         Try to meet up at a shop or at a public place if dealing through COD.

• ·         Beware of online payment via online banking to avoid phishing and cybercrime.

Cyber security issues

How many of us know and care about cyber security? I choose this title and bring it as a theme for my first posting here because I want to share to u what I have learned in my study. It is very important to know because we may not even know when cybercrime happens.

Nowadays, criminal not only happen on our real life as it also happen in a cyber-world. This type of criminal doesn’t need any guns or weapon to do damages. It only require a laptop, gadget and internet access. So simple right? In the world of cyber, there are many types of crime that can be done by anyone to the victim anonymously. Examples of cyber-crime are hacking, cyber bullying, stalking, phishing, identity theft, spam and etc.

Prevention tips:

1. Make sure the antivirus software installed in computer is up-to-date.

2. Always choose strong passwords and avoid use the same passwords on many platform accounts.

3. Do not open the emails or attachments from unknown or doubtful source.

4. Don't post anything on social network that have privacy matter.

5. Look for signs that a webpage is secure first before enter the sensitive data such as username, password especially when making online banking eg:maybank2u,CimbClicks…etc
6. Do not download the files from unknown sources

 You are not alone in the cyber world 

and possibly somebody is ‘watching’ you!!
