Fatigue and Excessive Sleep

Finds it DIFFICULT to get out of bed in the morning????

If so, you can suffer from excessive sleepiness where a condition that can significantly reduce quality of life, decrease productivity and interfere with relationships. Most people feel tired occasionally, but excessive sleepiness that persists is neither normal nor healthy.

The CAUSES :

  1. Self-imposed sleep deprivation.
  2. Working at night and sleeping during the day can also cause excessive sleepiness. Some people are able to adjust to such a schedule. However, others may never overcome the body's natural tendency to be awake during the day and sleep at night.
  3. Also linked with a number of primary sleep disorders (eg : snoring and obstructive sleep).
  4. Insomnia which may include difficulty falling asleep, difficulty staying asleep, and/or waking up still tired as well as daytime impairments.
There has a way to overcome this sleepiness, TREATMENT :

  1. Maintaining a consistent sleep schedule, even on the weekends.
  2.  Developing a regular, relaxing bedtime routine.
  3. Create a sleep environment that is dark, quiet, comfortable and slightly cool.
  4. Removing all work materials, televisions, phones and other distractions from the bedroom.

Hope for those who have this sleepiness, try and get a better routine sleep. Not excluding myself too....

TV DRAMA'S

Assalamualaikum,,,,

Drama in television now a days becomes a trend where most of the drama that was adapted from a novel. This trend started when a film titled " Ombak Rindu" was succeeded in cinema based on the novel by the novelist Osman Ali. Then, from that movie most of the director of a drama starts to make a drama based on the selected novel. The success of the drama sometimes depends on the actor-lined other than its own narratives. When the actor and actress in that drama is popular and more attractive, it is a sure that the drama will become hits.

Since I also sometimes will choose the best drama which have the actor and actress that I love to see rather than know what is the drama about. It is because when I just see the title of the drama without looking who are acting in that drama, it will not catch my intention on watching it. So, for me, it's not wrong to see the actor-lined first than the story line because from the actor-lined, it will make the drama to be successful.

ZAM ZAM WATER

Assalamualaikum....

What are the benefits of Zamzam water?

Praise be to Allah...

The water Zamzam is water of great virtue which first sprang forth when Jibreel (peace be upon him) struck (the earth) with his wing (Saheeh al-Bukhaari, 3364). Allah provided water for Ismail (peace be upon him) and his mother with it. The heart of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was washed with ZamZam water.

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: " The best water on the face of the earth is the water of Zamzam ; it is a kind of food and  a healing from sickness." (Saheeh al-Jaami', 3302).

It was reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) drank it, did wudoo' with it and poured it on his head. He used to carry Zamzam water in small vessels and large container in order to pour it on the sick and given it to them to drink. (al-Silsilat al-Saheehah, 883).

One of theSahaabah said: we used to call it al-Shabbaa'ah (satisfying) and it helped us to take care our families (i,e. it was filling and helped them to do without food, it was also sufficient to nourish children). (al-Silsilat al-Saheehah li'l-Albaani,2685).

The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): " The water of Zamzam isfor whatever it is drunk for " (Narrated by Ibn Maajah,3062; this is a Hassan hadith. Scholars and righteous people have experienced this- they have drunk it with the intention of fulfilling some need such as healing from sickness or being freed from poverty and distress, and Allah fulfilled these hopes).

And Allah knows best..

My trip to Malacca

I would like to write here about my recent trip to Malacca – the places, friends, and especially friend who guide me. Malacca is the third smallest Malaysian state. It is located in the southern region of the Malay peninsula. I had been there before but haven’t really  traveled around as a tourist.
I took a trip with sweet wife and friend who live and study at Malacca, he is also married ,also he is the one who guide me there, our trip was originally going to be 7 days, but my friend had to cut it down to 4 despite all of that, thanks to efficiency of my friend, we were still able to see all the things we wanted to in those 4 short days.
We started out the first day in Malacca Zoo, it was amazing day .we saw too many different kinds of animals, so I figured I had seen some of them but my wife never seen such of those animals.
The second day was packed  but still comfortable .by getting up early we were able to see  a Famosa ,Christ Church, and ended up in Tanjung  Tuan OR Cape Rachado Lighthouse .

The third and fourth days were really great, we went to AFamosa Resort  that has two parts which is water world and animals world we enjoy both ,we spend two wonderful days . first day there we enjoyed the water world ,there is no word to describe how happy we were especially our families, we rented two rooms for that night .for the next day we get up to have a magnificent day with animals world ,it was the first time in my life to ride elephant …..

DON'T BE SAD..

Assalamualaikum...

One of my favourite verses from the Qur'an. It always calms me down no matter what. It is so uplifting and enriching to the heart. Alhamdulillah...Realize that is not the people or even your own self that can save you. Only Allah can do these things. The people are only tools, a means used by God. But they are not the source of help, aid, or salvation of any kind. Only God is. The people cannot even create the wing of a fly (22:73). And so, even while you interact with people externally, turn your heart towards God. Face Him alone, as Prophet Ibrahim (as) said so beautifully: " For me, I have set my face, firmly and truly, towards Him Who created the heavens and the earth, and never shall i give partners to Allah." (Quran, 6:79)....But how does Prophet Ibrahim (as) describe his journey to that point?...He studies the moon, the sun and the stars and realizes that they are not perfect. They set. They let us down. So Prophet Ibrahim (as) was thereby led to face Allah alone. Like him, we need to put our full hope, trust, and dependency on God. And if we do that, we will learn what it means to finally find peace and stability of heart.

Working With Lazy people

Assalamualaikum...

Do you work with a person who doesn't "pull his weight"..=)
Perhaps he wastes a large part of the day playing games, or talking to friends on the phone. Maybe he takes extra long breaks ,etc..
If you work with a colleague like this, then you know how frustrating it can be. Working with someone who's lazy is always a personal challenge..

Try this options.....

Ignore the situation and go about your work or business. If the lazy colleague is not causing you problems
in any way, this might be the best option....So another option is to pick up the work your colleague is not doing. This will take care of neglected tasks, but it's only going add to your stress and frustration, since you're now doing her job as well...

Another strategy you can use is to help a lazy colleague in a subtle way. That is, you can delicately shape his behavior and motivation without him realizing what you're doing. For example....if you think that your co-worker is unmotivated because he isn't in the right role, ask him what he'd enjoy doing.

If in spite of your best efforts, you colleague won't improve or change and if her laziness is still causing problems for your team, then you might have to speak with your boss or leader....Before you do this, remind your colleague again that you will have no choice but to go to your boss if her behavior doesn't change...

Actually, you can solve this problem with your own way....

How to Motivate People

Motivation is powerful. It predicts success better than intelligence, ability or salary.
How??

1) Stop Bribing Them

    Rewards definitely work.
The rewards just motivate people to get rewards.
When the rewards go away, people stop.

2) Make Them Feel Something

People sometimes will be motivated by revenge, jealousy, fear, passion.....
And yet, they're all powerful motivators.

So, you must change individual behavior by addressing employee feelings.

3) Emphasize Progress

Nothing is more motivating than progress.
Progress is powerful. Encourage people to reflect on how far they've come and the good work they've done.

4) From A Cult (Well, Almost)

Not literally. No funky robes or animal sacrifices necessary. But what else unites a cult? Shared belief. A story.

Many of the younger generation now maybe the first time heard about Mimaland but try ask your parent, of course they still remember (if they remember). It was started build in 1971 and opened to the public in 1975.The name “Mimaland” was unique and its actually short form of “Malaysia In Miniature Land”. It’s located at hilly area in Ulu Gombak, Selangor not far from Kuala Lumpur. One of the attraction at Mimaland is the prehistoric dinosaur theme park that have big dinosaurs replica.

In 1984 Mimaland introduced another new attraction that was the swimming pool which to be the largest in Southeast Asia at that time. Also the big and high water slides that favored by many visitors.

Besides that, Mimaland also has lakes that suitable for cruises/fishing, "giant maze" area and jungle tracking activities. In other words, Mimaland was popular premier outing destination for families.

In  January 1993, an accident happened that resulted in the death of a 27-year-old Singaporean. Once again, the area is closed to the public. After that, Mimalad was closed
